When to submit the site on Google

The site should be submitted to Google as earlier as possible, even if you haven’t built your site, or even thought about your content but you have registered your domain just submit your domain name to Google. This is due to the fact that getting on the search engines has always taken a long time for a new site. You can never expect to rank highly within 6 months of submitting your site to Google.

Whenever Google detects a new website, it withholds its right ranking for a specified period during which it tries to find out whether your site is a genuine, credible, long term site. It follows this action just this to prevent the creation of SPAM websites which serve no useful purpose other than boosting the ranking of some other sites. By submitting your domain name to Google as soon as you get it registered, you will set up a site history even if there is no content in site.

If you stay until the launch day to submit your site, you will have to wait for more than a month sitting in the sandbox watching your potential clients paying their money elsewhere.

In order to submit your site to Google you should simply go to www.google.com.au/addurl.html. Entering your URL along with a few comments or keywords to describe the site and finally clicking ‘Submit’ option will make your site listed in Google. Google’s robots will then crawl your website but they don’t guarantee that you’ll be included in their results. Contact US
